Does the free downloader eventually become paid?
No. The basic downloader remains free under the published fair-use limits. You do not need a subscription or account for standard audio and video conversions.
What does “all advanced tooling” mean?
One YERRN+ membership unlocks the advanced capabilities we release across the toolbox, without separate tool subscriptions. Today’s media controls are the first implementation. Other advanced tools are not being advertised as already built.
What happens to saved files when I cancel?
Your paid access continues through the paid billing period. Saved files are retained for a 30-day export window after access ends, then scheduled for deletion. Temporary downloads expire after one hour. This is a working library, not a backup service.
Are higher-quality exports always better?
No tool can restore detail missing from the source. 4K is an upper limit when available; 320 kbps and FLAC exports do not turn compressed source audio into a lossless original. Subtitle availability also depends on the video.
Why are there limits?
Server-side conversion uses real compute and storage. Limits keep the free tier available and the paid tier sustainable. Failed attempts count toward abuse protection. A service-wide capacity limit may pause new jobs for everyone during heavy demand.
